Diamonds are a girl's best friend. This black silk chiffon is beaded in a harlequin pattern. Black sequin outline and connect one diamond shape to the adjacent diamond while black bugle beads outline each individual diamond shape. Inside each motif there is an asymmetrical pattern. On the right side, two rows of seed beads intersect. On the left side, double rows of pewter bugle beads intersect. A silver metallic thread is used to apply the beads. There is a space between each bead which allows the silver metallic chain stitch to be revealed. Imagine this fabric in a softly draped evening gown. A blouse with a draped neckline would be just as fabulous.
