History
Los Angeles was a bustling city when F&S Fabrics arrived on
the fabric scene in 1956. The tradition of bringing state-of-the-art
textiles and design to shoppers hungry for new and daring looks is
the hallmark of F&S that continues more than five decades later.
Today, the institution of F&S Fabrics continues in our landmark
store featuring the colorful murals of our business. We are still on
our original corner that is just minutes away from Beverly Hills,
Westwood, Santa Monica and UCLA. Now, our clients can also browse the
immense selection at three other F&S stores each with a unique
selection -- clustered in the same convenient block in West Los
Angeles.
Today, we are a leader in the fashion industry, known for our
unique character as a neighborhood store that has global eye for
fabric and now serves a global market. Our button collection has
expanded from an eclectic collection in those early days to an
unmatched selection that is directed by nationally-known button
lady Shirley Savoy. Shirley is part of the same dedicated and
knowledgeable staff that has been serving our customers for 20
years!
